1 answer. This looks as if you pulled in a Jira macro and accidentally selected multiple issues through a JQL filter. Edit your Confluence page and edit the Jira macro in your table. Suppose you just want to view the PRODUCT-11 epic, just type 'PRODUCT-11' in the search box and press enter to make sure you just see the one issue.
The followed the procedure below. 1. Added the "extend linked issues, story to feature" function. 2. Added the "insert JQL Query, issuetype = feature" function. 3. Added the "insert JQL Query, issuetype = epic" function. This would result in showing the Epic and having a "break" between the Epic and Feature level.
I think you want to remove the Bug level name (bugs will sit with stories in the standard issue types level). This will give you Initiatives as a parent level to Epics. You cannot remove Epic level, as it is part of the fundamental issue type hierarchy in Jira, not just Advanced Roadmaps. Totally agree with @Danielle Green answer.
Go to the ticket you want to remove and clear the “Epic Link” field. Does your configuration allow orphan issues (issues without epic assignments?) If so go to the issue and remove the parent link. This is not correct. The Epic Link is the field that should have its value removed.
Create and use Epics from the Backlog. If you navigate the backlog, you will see the ‘Epics’ panel on the left-hand side of the backlog. Click on it to show all the epics created in your project. Credit: Atlassian. To create a new epic, click on the ‘Create Epic’ or the ‘+’ sign from the epic panel.
Mark Markov. Rising Star. Aug 28, 2018. Hello @Aishwarya Raghavendra. Go to the "more" button of issue view and click "delete". If you did not see this option, make sure you have rights to delete issues in this project. You can do it in Project settings -> Permissions -> Delete Issues. Haseeb Ahmed May 21, 2021.
What is changing? Atlassian is standardizing how we associate parent and child issues across Jira for company-managed and team-managed projects. This results in deprecation of the Epic Link and Parent Link custom fields in REST APIs and webhooks, as well as in some other related changes. Please refer to the detailed change list below: Change 1 (Jira public API): Endpoints: All API endpoints
Select More > Link to display the Link dialog box. Ensure that the JIRA Issue item is selected at the left of the dialog box. Below the Issue field, click on the search for an issue link to specify a JQL query which regroups the issues you want to link to the current one. Click on the link Advanced Search from the Find JIRA issues window.
