My name is Marcel, and lately, I was looking to buy a Kia Ceed SW (used). As I searched on dedicated sites, I noticed that 99% of ads were related to 1.4 gasoline engines. Also, they are in 10.000-30.000km range. I was wondering if this engine does have any problem (could be My Kia ceed 2.0 crdi sport 2009, has recently just started to blow only cold air out of the vents, engine heats up as normal, air con is working fine albeit only cold air. Please can anyone offer help on the following fault: the power steering intermittently faults. The EPS indicator illuminates, and the steering becomes very stiff to turn. It can be reset by turning off the ignition, then back on again. I understand that the power steering is electric. Either the starter failed to disengage or you have an ignition switch problem. The new starter will address that issue but get the switch checked out in case its faulty.Don't be tempted to go for the solid flywheel option, sounds like the answer but you'll notice the increase in vibration and harshness to a greater or lesser degree and then the kIYuyx.
